END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Last updated: 5 November 2026.
1. Parties and scope
This End User License Agreement (EULA) covers Waffensachkunde Pro, its updates, learning content and associated services (the “App”). The Licensor is MAtechnologies sp. z o. o., ul. Walowa 14c, 51-523 Wrocław, Poland. The agreement is solely between you and the Licensor, not Apple or Google. The App is licensed, not sold.
Read this EULA before accepting it. If you disagree, do not accept it or use the App. Agreed pre-purchase features, mandatory legal rights and binding store rules remain applicable. This EULA does not replace any separately required consent.
2. Scope of license
You receive a nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the App as intended on devices you own or control, within purchased or freely available features. Resale, rental, sublicensing and offering the App as your own service are prohibited. Updates are covered unless provided under a separate license.
App Store versions may be used on Apple products under Apple’s usage rules, including permitted Family Sharing and volume purchasing. Binding Google Play use, reinstallation and family-sharing rights remain intact. This EULA does not restrict those store rights.
3. Copyright and prohibited use
Rights in the software, original explanations, design, protected compilations, databases and marks remain with the Licensor or respective rights holders. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. No exclusive rights are claimed in official, public-domain or third-party materials where the Licensor does not hold them.
Without authorization, protected App elements must not be copied, published, distributed, adapted or commercially exploited. Systematic database extraction, removal of rights notices, bypassing payments or usage limits, and interference with security or services are prohibited. Decompilation and reverse engineering are allowed only as permitted by law or applicable open-source licenses. Statutory exceptions, including mandatory software-use rights, remain intact.
4. Study aid, not official training or authorization
Waffensachkunde Pro is an independent study and practice aid for theoretical preparation for the weapons-proficiency examination under section 7 of the German Weapons Act (WaffG). It is neither an authority nor a recognized examination body and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Office of Administration (BVA), weapons authorities or examination boards.
Use does not replace required recognized training, practical instruction, prescribed examinations or administrative decisions. It does not provide proof of proficiency or grant a weapons possession card, carry permit or any authorization to acquire, possess, carry or otherwise handle weapons. Admission, proof of proficiency and permissions depend on applicable rules and decisions of the competent bodies.
5. Question catalogs, simulated exams and learning results
Official question catalogs may be used as sources. Original explanations, translations, selection, arrangement and exercise feedback are not official guidance. Legislation, case law, catalog editions and examination procedures may change. Current official sources and your examination body’s requirements govern; verify them before registration and examination.
Simulations, scores, passing thresholds, progress and readiness indicators are practice results. They certify neither actual proficiency nor safe practical ability and do not guarantee passing, admission or a permit. Actual examinations may differ in questions, weighting and procedure. Agreed features and mandatory conformity requirements remain unaffected.
6. Written answers and AI feedback
Where a feature uses AI to assess written answers or provide feedback, outputs are automated learning suggestions, not an examiner’s assessment or an administrative decision. AI may mark correct answers incorrectly, miss errors or produce inaccurate explanations. Check important statements against official sources or qualified instructors; do not rely solely on AI for legal or safety-related decisions.
Online assessment may require internet access and external services and is not automatically included in offline study functionality. Any required external-processing consent is obtained separately and is not replaced by this EULA. Do not enter unnecessary personal, confidential or third-party protected material. Availability, limits and changes follow agreed features, section 11 and mandatory law; a purchased core service is not reclassified as a discretionary bonus.
7. Practical safety and game features
Text, images, animations and the “Shooting Range” reaction game are learning or entertainment content only. They are not practical shooting instruction, safety clearance, emergency directions or a test of real handling skills. Game results must not be treated as evidence of real weapons competence or operational readiness.
Do not use the App while driving or actually handling weapons or ammunition. Practical activities must be lawful and take place under the required qualified supervision and safety conditions. The App does not replace personal instruction or binding directions from responsible supervisors or manufacturers.
You are responsible for the lawfulness of your real-world actions and compliance with applicable rules. An App statement does not justify prohibited handling of weapons or ammunition. The Licensor’s liability is governed exclusively by section 9; these safety provisions do not exclude mandatory liability.
8. “As is” and warranty provisions
Where lawful, the App is supplied “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. Beyond expressly agreed features, no voluntary guarantee is given for particular learning outcomes, complete freedom from errors, constant availability or compatibility with every device. Support communications do not create an extra guarantee without an effective express undertaking.
Statutory defect remedies, digital-product requirements, agreed characteristics, necessary security and functional updates and mandatory remedies are not excluded. In particular, this EULA does not replace separately required consent to a departure from objective conformity requirements. Every exclusion and limitation in this EULA is subject to section 9.
9. Liability
The Licensor has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body or health, fraudulent concealment of defects, assumed guarantees within their scope, mandatory product liability and other nonwaivable obligations. This also covers corresponding conduct of legal representatives and persons used to perform contractual obligations.
For ordinary negligence otherwise, the Licensor is liable only for breach of essential contractual duties that enable proper performance and on whose observance you may ordinarily rely. Such liability is limited to foreseeable loss typical of the contract at formation. Other liability for ordinary negligence is excluded.
These rules apply regardless of legal basis, including to indirect loss, lost profits, data loss, examination fees and consequences of failing an examination. Such losses are not excluded where recoverable under the preceding rules. Statutory defect remedies, mandatory consumer rights and binding store remedies remain intact. If a clause is invalid, the law applies; it is not automatically replaced by the broadest legally permissible liability restriction.
10. Purchases, subscriptions and refunds
Price, features, duration and any automatic renewal are shown before purchase. Subscription renewal and cancellation follow the payment platform’s rules. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Price changes apply only to future periods with required notices and consent.
Billing and refunds are governed by applicable law and binding platform rules. There is no blanket no-refund rule. Statutory withdrawal rights remain intact; early loss of a digital-content withdrawal right requires all legal conditions, including express consent, acknowledgment and contract confirmation. This EULA alone does not replace those declarations.
11. Support, changes, external services and Apple
The Licensor provides legally required or expressly agreed support and necessary updates. No additional commitment is made to develop new features indefinitely or support every operating-system version forever. Changes beyond maintaining conformity require objective reasons such as security requirements, abuse prevention, legal changes or necessary external-platform adaptations and must comply with law. Consumers incur no additional cost; required durable-medium notices and termination rights remain intact. Discontinuation does not remove obligations to existing purchasers.
Observe applicable third-party agreements when using external services. No extra guarantee is given for third-party services outside the Licensor’s control; the Licensor’s own contractual and statutory obligations remain intact.
For Apple versions, the Licensor, not Apple, handles content, support, product, privacy and consumer claims and investigation, defense and resolution of third-party intellectual-property claims. Apple owes no support. For breach of an applicable warranty, notify Apple for an App purchase-price refund. Where lawful, Apple owes no further warranty obligation; remaining related claims are the Licensor’s responsibility. Apple and its subsidiaries are beneficiaries entitled to enforce this EULA after acceptance. Binding Apple usage rules override conflicting restrictions.
12. Breach and termination
You may stop use by uninstalling; cancel subscriptions separately. For material breaches, the Licensor may proportionately restrict access or terminate for good cause within legal limits. Required warnings and opportunities to remedy will be provided. Immediate restrictions for fraud, unlawful access or urgent security threats are permitted only where lawful.
After valid termination of the right to use, cease covered use and delete corresponding copies, subject to statutory and binding store rights. Copyright and liability provisions survive as applicable. Mandatory refund, data-retrieval and other rights remain intact.
13. Privacy and local learning progress
Data processing is covered by the Privacy Policy linked below; this EULA is not blanket processing consent. Technical permissions and any required optional-service consent are handled separately. This EULA grants no entitlement to access data stored exclusively on your device.
Back up or export important progress where those facilities exist before changing devices, resetting or uninstalling the App. Local data may be lost. The App is not an official examination archive; no additional restoration or synchronization guarantee is given. Mandatory privacy, security and contractual obligations and section 9 remain applicable.
14. Legal compliance and export
Comply with applicable laws, sanctions and export controls. For Apple versions, you represent that you are not in a country under a US embargo or designated by the US as supporting terrorism and are not on a relevant US restricted or prohibited-party list. This software license grants no weapons-related authorization.
15. Governing law and final provisions
Polish law applies. Consumers retain mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence, including applicable German consumer law. Court jurisdiction follows the law; consumers do not waive statutory forums.
EULA amendments require objective reasons such as legal changes, binding store requirements or changes described in section 11 and must comply with law. They are not retroactive. Required notices and consent will be provided; continued use does not replace legally required consent. German and English versions are intended to have the same meaning; consumer-protective interpretation rules remain unaffected.
If a clause is invalid, statutory rules apply; the remainder continues only as provided by law. Failure to exercise a right does not waive it.
